Issue of statehood is misleading, implement Mandal Commission Report in J&K: AIBCU to Govt | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 7: An introductory meet of the executive members of AIBCU’s district Reasi committee held at Sanyog Ghar Reasi under the chairmanship of its Chairman Yash Verma ex-chairman of Municipal Committee Reasi. Ajay Tripathi secretary highlighted the aims and objectives of the union and put emphasis on the unity of the OBC communities to save them from the exploitation by the political parties. Sudhir Kumar president showed his resentment against the BJP govt which is following the foot prints of its opponent parties to siphon the due share of the OBCs inspite of the made promises by PM Modi. Chief advisor Tariq Bhat appealed the LG Manoj Sinha to implement the apex court’s judgment of 1992 on mandal report in the UT of JK like the rest of UTs of the country and don’t use muscle force in blocking the natural flow of justice for OBCs who are still called OSCs even after the abrogation of art 370. The other members who attended the meet were Mohd Javed Bhat sr vice president, Sachin Dogra Advisor, Master Wazir Mohd Malik joint secretary Naresh Verma organiser and vice president and Bahader Singh as Secretary member who also strongly put forth the demand of the implementation of 27% quota for OBCs in the state and strongly pleaded that whether it is a UT or a state with lowest status AIBCU has no concern with the statehood but we focus for our constitutional rights only. Political parties are diverting the attention of the poor people in the name of statehood which is meaningless for AIBCU. The meeting was held under the direct supervision of Prof Kalidass, state general secretary of AIBCU. |
