District admin braces for Block Divas ahead of B2V3

KISHTWAR, Sept 7: Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mohd Hanief Malik today chaired a meeting of the District and Sectoral officer here and discussed the modalities for holding the block divas in the district ahead of the “Back to Village” phase lll.
At the outset, the ADDC informed about the dates of the “block divas” that is going to be observed in the district ahead of the back to village phase lll.
He further briefed the meeting that phase third of B2V is going to be based on the format of public grievances.
He added that after the launch of the three long week “block Divas” which are to be observed on the 16th, 23rd and 30th of September 2020 , will commence the Back to Village phase 3 on Oct 2, 2020 and last till 12th October, 2020.
He informed that during the block divas , the grievances of the public is to be listened and documented and their redressal is to be ensured ahead of the commencement of the third phase of the back to village.
He further informed that during block divas which will be on every Wednesday, DC and SP will visit every block over a period of three weeks.
He directed all the district and Sectoral officers to coordinate and co-operate with each other and also to station themselves at block headquarters from 10:30 AM -11:30 AM on the day of block divas for effective redressal of public grievances.
Meanwhile, ADDC also reviewed the department wise status of the progress of works undertaken during B2V1 and B2V2 in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pawan Parihar, Joint Director planning Mohd Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar Kishore Singh Katoch, District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar, Tariq Parveaz, SDM Chhatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar,SDM Paddar Varunjeet Singh Charak, SDM Marwah Mohsin Raza, CMO Kishtwar Dr R S Manhas, LDM Nasir Hussain besides other district and sectoral officers.
