Srinagar, Sept 10: Family members of a 50-year-old Srinagar man, who is missing since September 3 in Jammu, has sought intervention from the administration and police chief to trace him. The family members of Riyaz Ahmad Khan, a resident of Urdu Bazar, Fateh Kadal, said he was last seen on September 3 when he left for Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu to collect his COVID-19 test. However, according to CCTV footage, Khan has not visited GMC on September 3. Staging a protest and holing placards in their hands, the family members, mostly women at Press Enclave near here, said Khan who was working in CDS Army canteen at Bari Brahmana, Jammu, remained untraceable despite having registered a missing report in police station Bakshi Nagar. They said Khan has a daughter, son, and an ailing mother who too have joined the protest, demanding his whereabouts. They said the daughter of Khan is going to get married next month. They appealed to administration and police chief to intervene so that Khan is traced. |
