Jammu Sahodaya, Erudite organize virtual Teachers’ award ceremony

JAMMU, Sept 10: To commemorate the nationwide Teachers’ Day celebrations, Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex in collaboration with Erudite Events successfully conducted J&K’s largest Virtual Teachers’ Award ceremony “Prayaas- Ek Koshish....an earnest endeavour” with great fervour and high spirits.
This event was one of its kind recognizing and awarding the incredible efforts of the true Edu-warriors who didn’t let the education sector stand still even in tough pandemic times and exhibited their invincible courage and indomitable spirit to elevate the noble cause of education above all adversities.
About 126 teachers from 21 renowned CBSE schools were adorned with “ Prayaas - Ek Koshish” awards celebrating their earnest endeavours in recognition of their spirit of adapting the paradigm shift in Education sector from physical classrooms to online and virtual learning. The event prolonged for record timing of more than seven hours and was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guests Prof C B Sharma (former chairman NIOS) and Vijay Puri ( renowned educationist).
The guests of honour were Dr Chand Trehan, Rachana Bhimrajka, Vinita Kher and Kalpana Chaudhary. All the member Principals of Jammu Sahodaya and other members of the Executive Committee were also present at the occasion.
The entire idea and execution of Prayaas -Ek Koshish has been made possible by the sincere contribution and immense hard work of the President (JSSC ), Pramod Kumar Srivastava (Principal Model Academy), General Secretary (JSSC), Dr Kunal Anand (Principal DPS Udhampur), PRO (JSSC), Dr Vikesh Kaur (Doon International School ) and the youngest entrepreneur Guneet Singh (President Erudite Events) .
