Class 10,12th annual exams in Kashmir likely to be held in mid November | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Oct 5: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is likely going to conduct the annual examinations of class 10th and 12th for students in the valley in the mid of November. As per the reports, the official said that the Board is all set to conduct the annual examinations of class 10th and 12th from 15 November adding that date sheets for the both the classes will be out within a week. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education had announced date sheet for the annual board exam for class 10th and 12th last month. During the notification, JKBOSE had already clarified that the students appearing in these examinations shall have to attempt only 70% marks from the question papers, which in the evaluation process, shall be treated as 100% and the score of students attempting less than 70% from the question the paper shall be raised proportionately Meanwhile, sources said that the department has increased the examination centers to facilitate the students to follow the social distancing norm. All the Covid-19 related guidelines and SOP’s viz use of sanitizer, face masks, hand gloves, and sanitization of examination centers are to be filled with letter and spirit. While the timing of the examination is to be held in the afternoon. However, the department is yet to take a final call on class 11th and regarding their exam, the decision will be taking in two weeks’ time.
