| Driver held with poppy straw in Jammu outskirts | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: Police on Monday arrested a driver with contraband of poppy straw in Jhajjar Kotli area here on the city outskirts.
Police here said that a truck was intercepted at Suketar Naka on Monday and during checking, 19-kg of poppy straw was recovered from the vehicle.
A driver identified as Gurudev Singh of Gho Manhasa was arrested on the spot while further investigation into the case is going on.
Police have registered a case under NDPS Act and investigation started.
