Sunderbani, Oct 8: The third phase of the Back to Village (B2V) programme at Panchayat Nallah turned violent today when a fight took place between two parties in presence of officials on some issues thereby FIRs were lodged on both parties.
As per reports, the proceedings of B2V3 were going on smooth at Panchayat Nallah of Tehsil Sunderbani but suddenly a resident of Makol namely Sanjay Kumar entered into argument with Naib Tehsildar Ajay Kumar, who was the incharge officer on some revenue land issues.
Later he also started fighting with Education Teacher, namely Sanjay Kumar regarding a school issue. Earlier, the programme was held at Panchayat Makol at Government High School Barnara day before yesterday.
Meanwhile, another resident Sham Lal who had got irritated with the continuous interference of Sanjay Kumar and hit him with some solid object which caused him serious injury. Immediately the local residents took Sanjay Kumar to CHC Sunderbani for treatment. Later, he got lodged an FIR against Sham Lal, Naib Tehsildar Ajay Kumar, Teacher Sanjay Kumar and a local panch at Police Station Sunderbani under FIR 105 u|s 341\323.
When Early Times contacted Tehsildar, he said that department had also lodged a counter FIR 106 u|s 353\506 for interfering in official work. Locals demanded that the development works should not be stopped in view of today’s incident.
