Jammu, Nov 7 : Two special police officers were disengaged while the in-charge of the check post placed under suspension on Saturday after a video in which the policemen can be seen collecting money from truckers, went viral on social media in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Udhampur-Reasi Range, Sujit Kumar here told UNI that action has been taken against the SPOs and they have been disengaged while the incharge naka has been placed under suspension.
The incharge can be seen along with the SPOs in the video when the incident took place.
The DIG further added that a departmental enquiry has also been initiated against the SHO, who has been sent on leave.
