Resolve teachers' issues in time bound manner: JKTA | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 22: JK Teachers Association appealed to the Government of Union Territory of J&K to resolve the pending and genuine issues of the teacher fraternity in a time bound manner. In a statement issued today, Bhupinder Singh, President of the Association appealed to the UT Government to consider the pending demands of the teachers fraternity in general and particularly the issues of Grade ll/lll teachers. Singh said that the main demand included the long pending conversion of RRets who have acquired degrees from BSP on the basis of which they have got regularisation and are doing jobs since so many years. Singh recalled that these teachers should be given Provisional orders prior to their verification process may get completed, as these teachers are without salaries since more than 2 years, release pending salaries of RRets who are not converted yet as they were without salaries on the auspicious festivals. Release pending arrears of grade ll and lll Teachers and implement the complete benefits of 7th pay commission arrears from 2016 instead of September 2018. Singh also appealed to Frame comprehensive transfer policy in favour of Grade ll, lll and 3rd Teachers, implementation Pay Grade in favour of Teachers fraternity as per UT Pattern, allow newly selected ZRP and CRP who were selected after passing screening test on merit basis, streamline the salaries of Head Teachers, Regularise the Services of ReTs whose files are lying in offices and issue the list of DPC. Bhupinder Singh also warned the government that if these demands are not settled in a time bound manner, then JKTA will leave no other option to hold a long protest in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir in favour of genuine demands. |
