JAMMU, Nov 22: Independent Candidate for DDC polls from Bhalwal block of Jammu district Chanchal Baba today addressed a series of meetings at various places falls under his constituency.
Chanchal Baba who has launched a rigorous campaign after announcement of elections, requested masses to vote him for a change, as most of the political parties have fielded their candidates who have already betrayed the voters.
"I believe in social works, and I did a lot. Prior to making my mind contest the polls, I have served the society without any favour. Through electoral politics we can bring a change in the system, since elected representatives have certain resources which could be for the betterment of the general public", he said, while addressing a meeting at Mishriwala this morning.
He said that government schools which have major roles in the development of humans are in shambles, as representatives are not taking care of these assets. "Schools are our biggest temple for everyone poor, rich goes for education in deplorable condition. Under 73rd amendment three tier system of governance can play a major role to streamline schools, hospitals and other public services by choosing a social worker rather than a businessman, who sees profit in every action", he said. |
