Protest of JTC, SKF continue for consecutive 57th day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 27: Continuing its agitation for consecutive 57th day, the sit in of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front J&K held a strong protest in Jagti township. Addressing the members Shadi Lal Pandita president Jagti JTC, Soan Kashmir Front J&K appealed to state and central government to increase the monthly cash relief of relief holder's as soon as possible for which a written order should be passed. The members said that of high prices, relief holders are not able to eat two time meals in a day and the cost of medicine and children's education is not covered. The members said in the meeting our protests will continue as Long as monthly cash relief of relief holders is increased from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 and as Long as a government job is given to those house were there is no government employee in the family. Kashi Nath Bhat Vice President of JTC,SKF and Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president Jagti JTC, convenor of Soan Kashmir front J&k said there are some pensioners in our community who receive very little pension they are not able to afford. They should be given free ration immediately.
