Shiv Sena resents over delay in distribution of Golden Cards | | | Early times Report
JAMMU, Nov 27: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit today staged protest vigorously against delay in distribution of Golden Cards under Ayushman Bharat to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, seeking benefits of the Scheme through Aadhar card. Dozens of party leaders, led by party UT President Manish Sahni, accused the Jammu and Kashmir administration of delay in issuing Golden Cards under Ayuhsman Bharat. He said that the only gift of free health insurance given to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the people have to wait for months for it. Sahni said that thousands of people have registered themselves, but they are deprived of the benefits of Ayushman Bharat for free treatment. Sahni said that if the intention of the government is to provide relief to the public, then the Aadhars demand relief on the card till the card is not issued. He said that the outbreak of Corona virus is also continuing in Jammu and Kashmir and due to lack of better medical facilities in the government hospitals, people are being forced to turn towards private hospitals for medical treatment due to which people facing severe problems. Shani, while referring the case of a senior photo journalist of Jammu who is getting treatment in a private hospital, said that despite the free health insurance scheme, he is being forced to pay millions of bills with the help of the people and from his own pocket.
