Gupkar alliance trying to cheat by selling false dreams: Thakur | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 27: Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir DDC elections, has stated the removal of irrelevant Articles 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir is in the interest of the people here and Gupkar alliance is trying to cheat Jammu & Kashmir by selling false dreams to restore 370. Thakur said, "Jammu Kashmir is the crown of India and the Modi government at the center is committed to enhance the beauty, dignity and elegance of this crown and to maintain an atmosphere of peace here. The Modi government has removed the curse of Jammu and Kashmir by removing Articles 370 and 35A, which have been a hindrance in development, the pace of development of the state and the citizens of this place have been provided with a shield to live peacefully." Speaking further, he said, "Articles 370 and 35A have been gone from the state for ever and it is not possible to restore them under any circumstances. Gupkar alliance is trying to cheat Jammu & Kashmir by selling false dreams to restore 370. The state has benefited from the removal of 370 and 35A. Why have the governments so far upheld Article 370 and misled the people of the country? Why did the people of the country continue to be robbed of hard-earned money and sweat for the safety of a handful of people and special status? With its removal, the problem of dual citizenship of the local people in Jammu and Kashmir has ended and the tribal and Balmiki society has got citizenship.
