Rajesh flag off Jammu Vishals U-17 Cricket team

Jammu, Dec. 20: Rajesh Gill member Indian Cricket Association and Former Ranji Player of J&K flagged Off Jammu Vishals U-17 Cricket Team in an impressive function held at Cricket Stadium Jammu. The Jammu Vishals Under-17 boys cricket team is going to participate in the “Christmas Cricket Premier League for Under-17 boys” 40 overs game which shall be commenced from 21st of Dec.2020 at Mohali.
The tour for the Jammu boys is being arranged by the Senior Cricketers of J&K and Members of the Indian Cricket Association in association with Vishal Cricket Club Jammu with the objective to provide platform to the J&K Cricketers so that they can exhibit their cricket talents and to improve their match temperament while playing with other state players. It needs to mention here that the Jammu Team will play four league matches of 40 overs game with the three different cricket teams which includes United Cricket Academy Fatehgarh, Champions Cricket Academy Chandigarh and Cricket Bash Academy Panchkula.
Rajesh Gill member Indian Cricket Association while addressing the members of the Jammu Vishals Cricket Eleven and said that the aim of the senior cricketers of Jammu & Kashmir and Members of Indian Cricket Association is to promote the cricket and cricketers of J&K and because of this reason the Jammu under-17 team is going to play with other state cricket teams so that the cricketer of our state may get exposure and benefitted.
He also advised the supporting staff and the Mentor not to allow any player to visit any other place or market for any shopping etc. He advised all the players and staff for strict compliance of guidelines to tackle covid i.e. using mask at all times, washing hands regularly, avoid handshakes with other players during match or post match ceremonies etc.
Others present on the occasion are Kuldeep Raj (Ex.MLA Hira Nagar), Madan Mohan, Sanjeev Mahajan, Amit Sharma and Javeer Singh.
It needs to mention here that Avinash Uttam Cricket Promoter will accompany the team as Mentor of the team, Ankush Sharma will be the Coach whereas Davinder Sharma, Rajinder Sharma and Raj Singh Khadyal will act as Managers in the supporting staff.
The members of the Jammu Vishals Under-17 Cricket Team were selected from three districts namely Jammu, Samba & Kathua. The list is as under:
Rohan Gill (Captain), Achintiya Khajuria (Vice Captain), Arnav Gupta, Shouraya Sharma, Vansh Khadyal, Danish Gupta, Arman Sharma, Krishana Sharma, Sarvan Gupta, Dhruv Gupta, Kinshuk Mahajan, Jahanveer Singh ,Vansh Sharma and Sachin.
