Jammu, Dec 24: Former Director information Narinder Singh in a statement issued here today has greeted the people on the occasion of Christmas. He said that people generally celebrate festivals by exploding crackers which create pollution in the atmosphere that leads to various diseases,therefore,he advised the people not to use explosive material on such occasions as the government has also issued certain advisories from time to time in this regard.There are other ways to express jubilations just as illuminating the buildings,using candle lights and non explosive materials.
Singh while greeting the people on the occasion hoped that this festival would bring peace and prosperity and happiness among the people. |
