Jammu, Dec 24: Awareness camp was organized today at CDPO office premises Gandhi Nagar by ICDS (Integrated Child Development Scheme) project, Gandhi Nagar.
During the programme, an overall awareness on schemes like Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Ladli Beti Yojana, Adhaar Enrollment and Scheme for Adolesecent Girls was provided to Anganwadi Workers and Helpers. In this awareness programme, District Programme Officer (DPO) (ICDS) Jammu, Madam Natasha was the chief guest. During the programme, DPO madam elaborated the importance of different schemes under ICDS at ground level. She focussed on the achievement of targets to be fulfilled under all schemes.
She also encouraged the whole project field functionaries and motivated them to work keenly in field and stressed upon maintenance of data at AWC level and also inspired them to work hard.
Pallvi Sharma (CDPO Gandhi Nagar) also provided awareness on different schemes and told AWWs and AWHs about important ways through which maximum number of beneficiaries can be enrolled and targets can be achieved.
