| SCCU felicitated Christian brethren on Christmas Eve | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Dec 24: Senior Citizen’s Club (registered) Udhampur (SCCU) today paid a visit to Union Church Udhampur to facilitate and extend Christmas greetings to Christian Brethren.
On the occasion club facilitated Bishop Dr. Santosh Thomas, Father of the Union Church Udhampur by presenting a bouquet. Sweets followed by tea were served to the visiting members of the Senior Citizens Club.
While appreciating the gesture shown by the Senior Citizens Club towards Christian brethren Father of the Church, Bishop Dr. Santosh Thomas extended all co-operations to the club in furtherance of the cause undertaken by the club towards the society in general and the down trodden segment of the society in particular.
While speaking on the occasion President of the club, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal said that there are 195 countries in the world, 60 dependencies and some disputed territories.
Approximately 160 countries celebrate Christmas day,the birthday of Jesus Christ. Jamwal expressed that all religious places are temples of light that show a path of love, affection and brotherhood and gives the message of becoming a better Human being helpful to one another.
The visiting members included executive body, advisory body and members of the club.
