JAMMU, Dec 24: Ahead of Christmas Day, SSP Traffic City Jammu Shiv Kumar Sharma took stock of Traffic management in the City.
SSP Traffic Stressed upon the officers and officials to take all necessary measures to smoothen the flow of Traffic on Christmas Day.
Moreover, Traffic Police City Jammu has cracked a whip on the Traffic violations at Akhnoor Town.
In order to bring a sense of safety among the Common masses ahead of Christmas Day, On the directions of SSP Traffic City Jammu, Today a drive was carried out at Akhnoor Town by DySP Traffic City Rural Neeraj Paddyar along with DTI Akhnoor, Insp Satvir Singh against Traffic violations.
During the course of drive, a large number of overloaded passenger vehicles were challaned under relevant sections of M.V. Act. Besides this, Awareness regarding Importance of following Traffic rules and regulations was also disseminated among the general masses. “The general public of Akhnoor Town is requested to cooperate with Traffic Police in order to bring a visible change in Traffic management in the Akhnoor Town” said SSP Traffic Shiv Kumar Sharma. |
