JAMMU, Jan 1: The National Youth Festival in India is being celebrated every year to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand from January 12-16 with the aim to promote the concept of National Integration, spirit of communal harmony and brotherhood among the youth.
The youth from different states of India showcase their cultural prowess on a common platform. However due to Covid -19 Pandemic this year every State, UT has been advised to celebrate this festival at intra state level -from Dec 30 to Jan 4.
As part of the same process, the 3rd day of Intra State National Youth festival celebrations are underway in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir at Teachers Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
A large gathering following all SOPs witnessed the event who were enthralled by the magnetic performances of the participants. |
