| SCCU launches New Year's calendar 2021 | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Jan 1: On New Year day 2021 Senior Citizens' Club Udhampur (SCCU) launched New Year calendar in association with "Specially Able People" at Club House Shiv Nagar Udhampur.
On the occasion sweets and fruits were distributed among "Specially Able People" (Divyang) and also among the members of the Club. Club extended New Years greetings to the people of the Union Territory and especially the people of Udhampur.
Speaking on the occasion Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, President of the Club apprised that on the day the activities undertaken by the club during the concluding year are deliberated to look for the shortcomings and to devise chatter for the activities to be undertaken by the club during the New Year.
The speciality of the New Year Calendar was the carrying of Lord Shiva's photograph of the statue raised at Devika Ghat, Udhampur. Jamwal said it will boost the religious fragrance among the people of the Udhampur largely devoted to Lord Shiva. The Club requested all the people to observe Corona guidelines more strictly than the previous year so that people could have a better healthy living. |
