| Congress expresses shock over martyrdom of Army soldier | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 2: Congress has expressed deep shock over the martyrdom of Naib Subedar Rajinder Singh in Nowshera sector yesterday due to Pak shelling .
Paying rich tributes to the martyr , JKPCC strongly condemned Pakistan for the continued mischiefs and misadventures on the LoC and borders along J&K, which is a matter of great concern and anger.
Chief spokesperson JKPCC Ravider Sharma took strong exception to the failures of the government of India to contain and stop the increased mischiefs by Pakistan during NDA regime which is indicated from the record 5100 incidents of Pakistan shelling during the previous year, which is highest in last 18 years.
Sharma said that the incidents of ceasefire violations by Pakistan were just a hundred or two during UPA regime but during BJP regime, it has increased to cross five thousand numbers.
Taking a dig at BJP, he said that the party would raise every finger on the UPA Government headed by Dr Manmohan Singh ,when BJP was in opposition and would raise unpleasant questions on these issues . Even BJP and its Prime Ministerial candidate made it an Election issue which was very unfortunate. |
