Whereas one of the employees was found wearing a mask in incorrect manner setting a wrong example for residents of Srinagar. As per the reports, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation had initiated Mask up Srinagar Campaign from December 1, however, during the campaigning few employees were found without the mask, while others had put the mask in wrong way. While as the photo of SMC employees roaming without mask had gone viral on social networking sites, with users questioning the intention of employees over the campaign. Ironically, the employees were seen roaming next to senior officials of SMC, who paid no attention, what so ever to their fellow colleagues.

It is height of hypocrisy,” said one of the user. SMC created awareness among the masses for almost seven days from December 26 and urge people to wear face masks to prevent the deadly virus from spreading.
