 EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 5: Career Counselling Cell of Government Degree College, Bishnah in collaboration with District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), Jammu organized an E-counselling programme on "Self Employment Schemes of District Industries Centre, Jammu" on 5th February 2021. This programme was conducted under Manodarpan initiative of MHRD, Government of India. Arshad Noomani, Functional Manager, District Industries Centre, Jammu, was the resource person of this online programme. Arshad Noomani in his elaborated lecture explained in detail different types of self employment schemes offered by District Industries Centre and additionally, guided students for preparation of civil services.
This E-counselling programme was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Anuradha Pandoh, Principal GDC Bishnah. Dr. Asha Singh, Coordinator, Career Counselling Cell of the college started the programme with welcome address. Dushant Singh, Career Counselling Officer, DECC Jammu, and Shivali Choudhary, Employment Officer, DECC Jammu coordinated the whole event.
This online programme was attended by nearly 100 participants, followed by an interactive session where all the queries of the students were addressed. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Asha Singh, Coordinator, Career Counselling Cell of the college. |
