AAP credits being defamed, BJP aghast | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 5: The Aam Aadmi Party Jammu province, reacting to decision of central cabinet regarding giving more teeth to Delhi Lt Governor so as to chew the achievements of Delhi AAP government, in a press release issued here, has expressed great surprise and wonder over the BJP government at the centre, is much irritated with the achievements of AAP government so much so that it has not been able to make any dent into the honest working of Kejriwal led government despite leaving no stone unturned to defame it by the means what so ever available to the BJP and new attempt has been made to divest Delhi government to do the developmental works of public interest, has decided to give more powers to the Lt. Governor of Delhi by cutting Delhi government to size. The release expressed apprehensions that there is great danger to the federalism as the present government is hell bent to snatch powers from the state governments as has been done in case of GST a state subject but shares not being given to the states. Referring to the press conference addressed by Dy. Chief MinisterMunish Sisodia, the AAP release said that judgment of 5- Members Supreme Court constitutional bench in 2015, regarding jurisdiction of working of Delhi AAP government has completely and deliberately over looked the judgment and an attempt has been made to rule Delhi government by keeping the guns on the shoulders of Delhi Lt. Governor and then defame AAP government as BJP has completely failed in running the Municipal affairs there. Cautioning the countrymen against nefarious designs of BJP government in snatching administrative powers from Kejriwal government and passing the same to Delhi government is now an open secret that BJP, after "eating the humble pie" at the hands of Kissan Andolan, is now trying to rule the Delhi Government keeping the gun on the shoulder of Lt. Governor, Delhi. |
