JAMMU, Feb 9: Family Counseling Centre (FCC) run by J&K Women Conference State Branch of All India Women Conference organized a meeting in collaboration with Rekha Chouhan, Distt Secretary & social activist at her residence in Nanak Nagar Jammu.
The centre assembled the women at the venue and started the meeting with the introduction of the Family Counseling Centre (FCC). They informed the women about the function of FCC through which counselors provide psycho-social counseling to women who are facing family disputes to solve their problems without any fee.
During the meeting they discussed with the women about the problems faced by women like physically and mentally torture, Dowry demand, pre-marital problem, domestic violence, separation in families, Elder abuse by children, economic crisis etc.. In this regard they provide counseling to women and their families.. They also provide referred services if necessary. They also awarded the women's about the 18 women helpline which provide protection to women and provide legal and police help.
On the occasion, Pooja Chouhan Additional Social Media Secretary BJP Distt Jammu was also present. |
