jammu, Feb 9: Chances of veteran Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad to get re-elected for Rajya Sabha with the support of his party appear to be bleak after Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned emotional while praising Azad in the Rajya Sabha.
Political observers were of the view that the incumbent Congress leadership led by Gandhis will never digest praise of any party leader by the Prime Minister due to 'hostile' relations between Gandhis and Prime Minister. The young Gandhis, be it Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi, seized all opportunities to criticize the Prime Minister on different issues so they will not allow support of any leader of their party who has cordial relationship with BJP leadership. |
