Jammu wants equal funds-equal budgets, no separate state: Citizens' Forum | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 9: Citizens' Forum has rejected the idea of Jammu Declaration initiated by National Conference and termed it as another hoax in the political relevance of Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement issued here today, Citizens' Forum president R K Chadha said that we have seen the result of Gupkar Declaration breaking into pieces at the DDC elections. Ultimately money and seat sharing is the main criteria of all political parties and leaders. Chadha further said Jammu needs a Jammu region based political party with educated, technically qualified people to start with and then work for the development of every region of Jammu. People who are able to stand the onslaught of Kashmiri leadership in corruption and discrimination of Jammu share of development should come forward and form a Jammu based party with firm declaration of equal funds, equal budgets and no separate state. He said that the Citizens' Forum fully agrees with Congress demand of bifurcating of large constituencies of Gandhi Nagar and Jammu West and of others like same having more than 80000 voters.
