JAMMU, Feb 9: The Senior volleyball players men and women and sub junior boys volleyball teams of JKUT celebrated birthday of Volleyball today at M A stadium Jammu.
Importance of the day revolves around William G Moragan, the founder of Volleyball game earlier known as mintonette game which was played as pass time preferably indoors. Morgan created this game on Feb 9, 1895 which is played by over 800 million people across the world today.
The Volleyball players who participated in today's function were jubilant on seeing improvement in volleyball game in J&K UT. |
