EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 9: Road safety advocacy programme is being organizing by Socio Service Art Group (SSAG), New Delhi in association with Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MORT&H) Govt of India, with the students/youth in different schools from 8th Feb to 20th Feb in Jammu. The said programme is being organized during National Road Safety Month. The programme has been devised judiciously with the aim to reduce road accidents as majority of deaths take place on roads due to over speeding, helmetless driving without the use of seat belts. The workshop of 15 days is organized in the different educational institutions in Jammu by SSAG, New Delhi & MORT&H, GOI in an innovative fashion by applying different art mediums. Visual and Performing art medium provides the participating students a platform so that they can feel free to express their thoughts in fun-filled atmosphere under the guidance of experts engaged in the road safety advocacy programme by the organization. Yesterday and today road safety awareness programmes were conducted with the students of SRML Model HSS Parade Jammu, Govt. Girls Hr Sec School Mubarak Mandi Jammu. Similar programmes will continue till 20th of Feb in the educational Institutions like Govt. Boys Higher Sec School Gandhi School Jammu, Govt. Girls Hr Sec School Shastri Nagar Jammu, Govt. Hr Sec School Balwal, Govt. Hr Sec School Dansal, Govt Boys Hr Sec School Akhnoor & Govt. Hr Sec School Marh. The programme is conducted by experts Anil K Razdan, Jasleen Verman, Danish Sharma and Mahak Sawan. |
