Jammu, Feb 9: Psychological cum career counseling and placement cell organize an extension lecturer on “career opportunities for graduate students in foreign countries”.
The progamme was started with the welcome address by Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi. The resource person for the today’s extension lecturer was Jaffer Latief who is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the policy making and development research at International Institute of Social Sciences, Hague, Netherland.
While interacting with the students the resource person has presented a broader perspective of job opportunities across the globe and encouraged the students to pursue their career in developed countries of the world and work hard to become good citizens. Dr. Khalid Rayaz, Coordinator Placement Cell emphasized upon the students for setting the goal of their life and said life without aim is like a letter without address. The proceeding of the programme was conducted by Coordinator Psychological counselling Dr. Altaf Ahmed, Assistant Professor in Chemistry while the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Tajinder Singh (HOD Botany, and Coordinator Career Counselling Cell).
Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi Principal of the College while appreciating the team of career counselling and placement cell thanks the resource person for inculcating the interest of students to pursue their studies in different fields across the globe.
The programme was attended by Dr. Nahim Un Nisa, Dr. Ibrahim lone, Prof. Tahir Nadeem, Naveem Sharma, Dr. Shokit Ali, Prof. Zahir Abass, Prof. Parwaiz Ahmed and various others. |
