Teachers Federation organises "Kartavya Bodh Divas"

Poonch, Feb 10: Poonch Unit of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation under the aegis of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) organized “Kartavya Bodh Divas” at Hari Memorial Public Academy Poonch here today.
Anwar Khan, prominent poet, literary personality, an educationist and Principal HSS Sawjian Poonch was the chief guest, whereas the function was presided over by Mohd Shafiq, senior vice president of AJKLTF Poonch. . “Kartavya Bodh Divas” is one of the annual programmees of the ABRSM organized every year from 12 January, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti to 23rd January, Subash Chander Bose Jayanti or extended to 31st January.
Darshan Bharti, senior vice President of AJKLTF Jammu Kashmir (UT) threw light on the organizational activities and the motive behind the organization of such programmees, like Kartavya Bodh Divas. He said, “We teachers have to identify ourselves and dedicate ourselves for the betterment of the Education sector”
“When we say “Rashtra ke hit main Shiksha”, “Shiksha ke Hit Main Shikshak” aur “Shikshak ke Hit Main Samaaj” we need to intervene into policy making and other Social issues and encourage and guide students for the betterment of our Country. Bharti said. He also highlighted that ABRSM is the only Teachers organization that has been working in the education field not only to raise demands of the teaching community but also organizes various programmes to inculcate a sense of Duty and realization. He asked the teaching community to join hands with AJKLTF for making teachers' voices more powerful.
Anwar Khan, The chief Guest speaking on the occasion stressed on the need of self Identification and self analysis of teachers.
He said that teachers are the Only community which can guide and mend the students community in a right direction. He asked the teachers community to devote time in learning and reading books so that self improvement is done. He also asked the teachers community to work with missionary zeal to uphold the dignity of teaching community. Mohd Shafiq, Senior Vice President of AJKLTF Poonch extended vote of thanks.
