Jammu, Feb 10: The Road Safety Club, GGM Science College Organized a two-days Webinar in collaboration with Motor Vehicles Department, J&K to commemorate 32nd National Road Safety Month on 9th to 10th February 2021 under the guidance of Ravender Kumar Tickoo, Principal of the College .
On the first day of the webinar Dhananter Singh, RTO Jammu delivered a talk on Road Safety Awareness on new provisions under Motor Vehicles Amendment Act, 2019 and provided valuable insights on the topic. Shiv Kumar Sharma, SSP Traffic Jammu apprised the participants on Road Safety for Women in public transport while highlighting the efforts of Motor Vehicles Department in streamlining the traffic of Jammu City.
The students from various degree colleges actively participated in the Webinar and interacted with the Resource Persons. Earlier, the resource persons were welcomed and introduced to the audience by Chanchal Angral, Associate Professor and Convener Road Safety Club, Shakha Sharma, Assistant Professor, Member Road Safety Club carried out the proceedings of the Programme.
