JAMMU, Feb 13: Solving a recent murderous attack on a businessman of R.S. Pura town by unidentified persons, Police today arrested four persons.
Sources said that a local businessman Kamal Sharma was attacked with sharp edged weapons resulting in injuries and his car was also snatched by some unknown persons a few days back.
"Following the incident, a case FIR No. 20/2021, under section 341/147/148/149/504/212 /109 IPC 4/25 A Act was registered at Police Station R S Pura", they said, adding that to work out the case a Police team led by SHO RS Pura, Jai Pal Sharma on the basis of inputs arrested four accused", they said.
"Arrested persons have been identified as Lovepreet Kumar, Aman Sharma, Ajay Kumar and Pankaj Kashyap. During sustained questioning, they confessed their crime and, on their disclosure, the snatched car along with sharp edged weapons were recovered", they said. |
