RAMBAN, Feb 13: The meeting of the District Development Council (DDC) members of Ramban District for electing Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson was adjourned by the Deputy Commissioner due to lack of quorum, here today. Out of the 14 elected DDC members, only 08 members turned up at the Conference Hall, Maitra, District Administrative Complex, the venue of the elections. As per rules governing the election of Chairperson/ Vice-Chairperson of DDCs, the quorum for the first meeting shall be two-third of the elected members.
