Jammu, Feb 13: Education empowers women and empowerment of women is necessary for development of family, society and nation as well said Jyoti Rani Salatihia, Joint Direction Employment, Jammu, while addressing a group of 40 women students who appeared in annual exams of cutting & tailoring conducted by Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj, Jammu & Kashmir in its training centre at Bhour Camp (Jammu).
There are so many schemes by the government for the development and financial up-gradation of women through which women can shoulder the responsibility of family by taking bold decisions in all sphere of life, she added.
She advised women to take training in different technical trades and start their own units with the help of financial assistance / loan facilities provided by state government. Salathia informed them to call her for any kind of help / assistance in this regard.
Jyoti Salathia also appreciated and complimented examination committee comprising of Neha Sharma, Assistant Professor, Poonam Sharma, S Tejpal Singh and Ajeet Kour for fair and smooth conduct of annual exams. |
