POONCH, Mar 14. Although the union government is claiming to provide abundant facilities to the masses of the nation but these slogans and claims are only as castles of sand in air, as all is not well in Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Sources said that there is only one Labour Inspector running two offices of twin districts for more than three years and people especially shopkeepers are suffering a lot. People have no knowledge about the stay of the officer at Poonch and Rajouri and they always come to office and found him absent from office and get disappointed. Javid Reshi, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Insaaf Movement said that many labourers, shopkeepers from different areas of Poonch such as Loran, Sawjian, Mandi, Haribudhar, Surankote, Bafliaz have approached him to put this matter with state administration. Reshi urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to provide two Inspectors for two district for the betterment of the general public in large. Labour Commissioner said that the department has demanded to government for another inspector but they are not being provided the same so far. He assured that separate inspectors will be deployed when government sends a new inspector. |
