GOOL, Mar 24: Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Gool, Giasul Haq convened a meeting of officers and prominent citizens to discuss the arrangements for ensuing Holy Month Ramadhan, besides the local issues pertaining to the different departments, here today.
DDC Councillor Gool, Sakhi Mohammad also addressed the meeting and highlighted various issues of the public importance.
The SDM reviewed the status of power curtailment, implementation of COVID-19 vaccination programme, implementation of preventative measure and observance of covid SOPs in schools and other institutions besides other development activities initiated by the different department in the sub-division.
The SDM said assured to take-up the issue rescheduling the power curtailment during the holy month of Ramadhan with concerned authorities for the convenience of the public. He directed the concerned officers to follow-up the issues for redressal.
Earlier, the officers, including BMO, Tehsildar and Engineers of various departments apprised the meeting about progress made by their respective departments under various schemes.
While reviewing the progress of covid vaccination, the SDM urged the PRIs to motivate the targeted population for taking vaccination doses in their nearby Covid –Vaccination –Centres.
The issues raised by the Sarpanches and Panches including rationalization of teachers, land issues of Bus Stand and Hospital were discussed in detail. |
