COVID-19 vaccination camp held; 40 residents vaccinated | | | Early times report
BANI, Apr 5: As the largest vaccine drive was launched weeks ago across the nation; to carry forward the same a corona virus vaccination drive was held on the same pattern at Primary Health Center (PHC) Koti Chandyar Bani today. The COVID-19 vaccination camp was held on the directions of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bani Dr Balkari Lal whereat more than 40 residents were vaccinated with the first doze of the vaccine. The camp was held under the supervision of zonal Medical Officer PHC Koti Chandyar, Dr Rameshwar Singh. People from far flung areas had come for the vaccination and were given the first shot. During the camp, all the people who were given the shot were advised to remain in utmost care and take precautions against the deadly virus. Dr Balkari Lal said that deadly pandemic has engulfed the whole world and killed millions pf people so, there is a emergency to contain the spread of the virus and following the guidelines advised by the Heath and Medical experts is the best way to keep the virus at bay besides people should come forward and get vaccinated primarily so that the virus is eradicated from here. People were also made aware of different SOPs and guidelines agitation the virus while focusing on the putting on a make a must. Dr Rameshwar Singh appealed to the people at large to adhere to the SOPs issued by the administration from time to time and cautioned them about the dire consequences as number of positive cases are still rising in J&K besides in India. Besides residents, Staff members Ruksana Akhtar, Reena Devi, Rattan Chand and Mohammad Irfan were present during the camp that winded with masks distribution among the people. |
