Training programme on "Cyber Forensics" commences at SKPA Udhampur | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Apr 5: A 5-day long training programme on "Cyber Forensics" and one week "orientation/refresher course on security awareness" commenced today at S.K Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur. A total of 48 officers of the rank Constable to Inspector reported in the Academy to attend the courses. The courses were inaugurated by Mohan Lal, SSP, Asstt Director (Outdoor & Indoor) SKPA, Udhampur. During his inaugural address Mohan Lal, welcomed all the course participants and intimated that the course on Security Awareness is designed to raise awareness about the different security threats vis-a-vis security of vital installation, VIP security protocol, assessment of crisis management and planning, introduction of latest gadgetries etc. On the other hand training programme on "Cyber forensics" will help the course participants to acquire latest knowledge and procedures to deal with Cyber Crimes. In today's networked environment, it is crucial for network and system administrators to understand the essential aspects of computer forensics and their major challenges. The training programme would help trainee officers to understand the process of gathering cybercrime- related evidences and files to be presented in a court of law. The inauguration of the course was attended by K.K Sharma DySP (Q) SKPA Udhampur (Course Director), Suraj Singh. DySP (R&D)/Administrative officer SKPA Udhamur, Nayeem Abbas Hamdani, Junior Cyber Consultant (Course Director) and other faculty members of the Academy. |
