| NCC cadets of GDC Kathua remember Jalianwala Bagh martyrs | | |

KATHUA, Apr 13: On the eve of Baisakhi, NCC cadets of 4 J&K BN of GDC Kathua organized a programme to remember Jalianwala Bagh martyrs. The cadets also participated in Plog Run on the theme freedom struggle and say no to plastic. DDC Vice Chairman of District Kathua Raghunandan Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. A floral tribute was also paid by the cadets and chief guest to the statue of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev. A speech on remembrance of Jalianwala Bagh was given by the Cadet Jarnish Bandral. Chief guest during his speech appreciated the efforts of the cadets of GDC Kathua in organizing such activities. He also remembered the Jalianwala Bagh massacre. The whole function was organised under the guidance of Principal GDC Kathua Prof Assa Ram Sharma and under the supervision of Dr Verinder Singh, ANO GDC Kathua. |
