JAMMU, Apr 14: Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association has elected Kewal Krishan Sagotra as its President.
The election was held under the supervision of Surjeet Singh Heer. After election, Executive Body was formed with Pardeep Kumar Shavotra as Senior Vice President, Surinder Paul and Rajesh Saryara as Vice Presidents, Kussum Bhagat as General Secretary; Tilak Raj as Joint Secretary, Ram Paul as Organising Secretary and Ram Singh as Treasurer.
While those elected as members to the body included Bikram Magotra, Sukh Dev, Deep Kumar, Anil Kumar, Ashwani Kumar and Sachin Kumar.
Earlier, the Association members celebrated the 130th birthday of Baba Saheb Dr B.R.Ambedkar with traditional fever and great enthusiasm.
Besides, the Association honoured its earlier Presidents R.L Kaith and S.S Heer.
Prominent among attendees were Choudhary Atta Mohd, Om Parkash Banmotra, Pritam Chand, Subash Chander, Jatinder Kumar and Sunny Kumar. |
