Jammu, Apr 30: To commemorate 75 years of India’s struggle “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Government Degree College, Ramgarh organised an online quiz competition on the topic ‘Life of Jawaharlal Nehru’. Jawaharlal Nehru was an Indian Independence activist and subsequently, the first Prime Minister of India, as well as a central figure in Indian politics both before and after independence. To aware the students about the life of this great personality, an online quiz was organised under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr) Meeru Abrol. A total of 108 students and scholars actively participated in the competition out of which 85 students who secured equal or more than 60% were encouraged with e-certificates after the completion of the event. Students and scholars from following institutions: University of Jammu, Govt. MAM college, GCW Gandhinagar, GCW Parade, GDC Ghagwal, Gargi College (Delhi University), IGNOU other than GDC Ramgarh participated in this quiz.
Iram Ishaq Chouhan of GCW Gandhinagar, Sumit and Komal Sharma of GDC Ramgarh, Richa from Gargi College (Delhi University) and Mohd Afzal Choudhary, Fiza Dar, Dhriti Gupta, Abhishek Kumar, Ragab Gupta, Mohd Usman Wani, Nitten Singh, Manik Sharma, Jahangir Ahmad, Akshit Mahajan, Gurpreet Kour, Mohd Basat, Deepak Singh, Preetam Rana, Umar Ayub, Prem Damathia, Vinkle Udey, Mohd Asaf, Bania, Aman Kumar, Stanzin Namgyal, Kamakshi Vaid, Mohd Moheen from Govt. MAM college, Jammu scored 100% in quiz. The quiz was organised by Minali Deep, Department of EVS and coordinated by Prof. Seema Sharma, convenor, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav club of GDC Ramgarh.
