Jammu, Apr 30: Ram Parkash Sharma Principal Central Basic Purani Mandi Jammu and president of JK & Ladakh UT got superannuated today after rendering 37 years of service in the education department.
He served as teacher, lecturer and Sr. Lecturer and has a distinction of having best spokesperson as a science teacher in 1987 and having best trade union awards.
He has served in various schools in district Rajouri, Samba, Udhampur and Jammu and served in prestigious institution in Marh, Pancheri, Mubarak Mandi etc.
He also discharged the duties of headmaster of various schools and Z.E.O of zone marh and Z.E.O of zone Pancheri. He was the convenyor of all J&K graduate and post graduate in year 1992 and remained president of plus 2 lecturer forum of district Rajouri and contested election for 3 terms giving almost 9 years of service to the plus 2 forum.
During his tenure, regularisation of incharge cadre was gifted to the cadre because of personal equation of education minister late M.S Tariq in the year 2000.
He has the credit of induction of 7 academic officers in J&K BOSE.
