DySP(M) S. Darshan Singh superannuates

Jammu, Apr 30: S. Darshan Singh DySP(M) retired from Police department/Govt. service on April 30, 2021 on attaining the age of superannuation. Officers and staff of APHQ J&K led by A.K. Choudhary IPS ADGP Armed organized an impressive function at PHQ Conference Hall Jammu and accorded a warm farewell to DySP(M) S. Darshan Singh.
Besides presenting a cheque amounting to Rs. 75000/- as retirement gift (applicable under J&K Police Welfare scheme), the ADGP Armed J&K joined by his staff officers SSP Mahmood Ahmad and Dushyant Sharma also presented a memento to S. Darshan Singh DySP(M) as token of love from APHQ staff & officers. Consequent upon his promotion as DySP(M), S. Darshan Singh joined APHQ J&K as Administrative Officer in November 2018 and remained posted on such assignment till his retirement.
The officer has rendered unblemished services in the Police organization for 38 long years. During this long span of service he remained posted and shouldered significant assignments in various capacities which include his posting in District Kathua, JKAP 9th Bn, JKAP 6th Bn, District Jammu, Jammu Range office , District Kathua, District Rajouri, PTS Kathua and Samba. Finally, after his posting in APHQ J&K as Administrative Officer APHQ from 11/2018 till 30.04.2021, he retired on superannuation on 30.04.2021.
