Jammu, May 9: Dogra Youth today paid rich tribute to Maharana Partap Singh at Jammu. Dogra Youth Leader Partap Singh Jamwal, Bhanu Partap Singh Goria & Arun Mehra said that nation is indebeted to those who have fought against the oppression and gave their lives for the honour of their country.
Paying floral tributes to Maharana Partap on his 478th birth anniversary , Partap said that he was a great national icon who relentlessly struggled against injustice and oppression. He said that Maharana Partap confronted un imaginable hardships during his lifetime but he faced them valiantly to save the honor and dignity of his motherland.
Remembering the great ruler, Bhanu Partap stated that Maharana Pratap’s life symbolized courage, patriotism and sacrifice of the greatest measure.
He said that “we must retain Maharana in our mind and soul all the times, not just on one day in a year”. He said that the Maharana was so popular for his patriotism and valour that every Indian was ready to die for the righteous cause.
Arun Mehra said that Maharana Partap is a lighthouse for all those who want to serve their motherland with utmost zeal and commitment as the exemplary courage exhibited by this legendary warrior hardly finds any parallel in the annals of history.
Ansh Mehra, Lovish sharma, Aakash Meenia, Nikhil Sharma, Suraj Kumar were also present.
