| GCW Udhampur Organizes Online Poster Making Competition on National Technology Day | | |

Udhampur, May 11: To make the cadets commemorate the contributions of individuals in the field of Science and Technology, the 2 J&K GIRLS NCC BN, Government College for Women, Udhampur conducted Online Poster Making Competition for NCC Cadets on National Technology Day on 11 May 2021. The theme of the competition was to focus on 'Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future'.
The competition was judged by Prof. Sumita Rao, NSS Programme Officer of the college. Out of all the 35 participants, three were shortlisted by the judge. The first position was bagged by Cadet Roshni Sharma,while second and third positions were bagged by Cadet Prakriti Sharma and Cadet Sakshi Sharma. Prof. Minu Mahajan,Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the concerned teachers for their initiative and guidance to encourage proper and inspire the students for expressing their artistic talents. She also appreciated all the participants and also congratulated the winners. The entire event was coordinated by Lt (Dr.) Kamal Deep Kaur, Associate NCC Officer of the college. |
