| CAT issues directions to complete selection process of AAs within 4 months | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 11: In a petition filed by candidates who have applied for the post of Accounts Assistants (AAs) in pursuance to the advertisement notice dated 12.11.2010. This notification was challenged by the applicants before various forums. Lastly, it came for conclusion before a Division Bench of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on 01.02.2017. Now, the grievance of the applicants is that they are waiting for initiation of the selection process for almost more than a decade.
A Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) comprising its Judicial Member Ashish Kalia and Administrative Member Anand Mathur directed respondents to complete the selection process within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. JNF
