Public representatives playing no role in public grievances in Corona time
5/11/2021 11:22:16 PM

Rampaul Dogra

Our fundamental right say, that every citizen has right to a dignified life with safety and people cast their vote & elect their representatives and in turn they have to deliver services in favour of them.
But in this pandemic time hardly any honable MPS MLAs MLCs,Corporators,DDCs,BDCs, Chairman vice Versa are seen on ground to help the people. The people is in dire need of help of all forms be it foodgrains help, medicine, masks, senitizer, cash & kind especially to poor population since emergence of second layer of covid-19 wave.
But unfortunately no body is lending any helping hand to sufferers. Why this type of silence is being observed by all these responsible leaders/representatives.
Only few private organisations are engaged to human service on the ground making oxygen available to needy, offering dry ration after collecting money of their own. While as govt support is negligible and no support is rushed to affected people. Countless persons lost life daily by Corona disease without any help to them from government side is matter of concern.
The cremation sites are full of dead bodies and scene is scaring for all of us . we are heavily paying price by each passing day as wheel of death & distraction is continue.vaccination is moving in snail pace manner covered so for 18cr population out of total population of country.
Some tips can be helpful here like- Installation of live telecast by CCTV camera in hospital Status of patients in hospitals.
Activation of elected representatives towards society especially in emergency situation.
Role of Ngos in service of lives,,those deliberately inactive should be dropped from records as non functional NGO..
Private network of people be encouraged by mobilising religious complex in fighting such crisis.
List of deseased persons be put on IN so that Corona deaths be available to kith n kins.
Awareness regarding Corona updates by specialised doctors /experts be aired for updates. Not by CEO/chairman having no medical degree to educate.
Govt steps taken towards pendemic be put to public domain and financial help be immediately given to affected people.
Public grievances window to be opened by govt 24/7 to circulate right information among people and strictly stopped the rumour mongering. Those lost jobs in pandemic be given stipend/financial help till restoration of their jobs.By these steps we can able to improve the situation and ensure safety of people.
