JAMMU, May 16: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Mahasabha (KKHM) said that Kashmiri migrants and members have expressed serious concern over the delayed approach of central and UT Governments in resolving various issues of the displaced community. Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan, chairman KKHM said that the issues like enhancement of monthly cash assistance, pendency of provision of Ayushman Bharat SEHAT Golden cards for majority of migrants, cashless treatment benefits and non-release of monthly pension in favour of old age, disabled, handicapped and widows and other demands are still lingering on while as migrants are already facing serious financial problems due to their migration from Kashmir Valley and now over the last year the Covid-19 pandemic has added to their unending woes. It is urged to central and UT Governments to take serious cognizance of migrants issues on humanitarian grounds to provide all benefits at war footing so that they may not be deprived from genuine benefits during the Covid-19 pandemic as if provided timely this will give big relief to suffering migrants. |
