| MC Rajouri fighting COVID-19 threat with sanitation drives | | All efforts being put in place to battle against deadly virus | |  ANKIT KESSAR

RAJOURI, May 16: Amid COVID-19 surge, the Municipal Council Rajouri has been continuously fighting against the deadly virus by carrying out sanitization drives across town.
Ever since the second wave of COVID-19 has started in JK UT, the Municipal Council Rajouri has been working day and night to put in place all measures to battle the threat of deadly virus by carrying out sanitization, fumigation drives so that roads, streets should be sanitized.
“These drives are taking place in all 17 wards of the MC Rajouri. The Safaikaramcharis have been working from morning till 8 pm in the evening to maintain sanitization.
Even the concerned councillors have also been given all sanitizing material so that they can also utilize them in their respective wards,” officials informed. Executive Officer Municipal Council Rajouri has also assured all possible help to the residents to defeat COVID pandemic.
Municipal Council Chairman Arif Jatt, while talking to Early Times informed that their prime duty is to serve humanity. He appealed to the civil societies to extend their help to people in this testing time and assured that he would leave no stone unturned to help people of Rajouri. |
